Established by three brothers in 1956, this was the first musical instrument company in South Korea. By mid 1980’s, Young Chang had established itself as a global company exporting around the world. In 2006 the company was purchased by Hyundai Development Company. American designer Del Fandrich has redesigned both Young Chang and Weber lines.

This piano plays as beautifully as it looks and has been constructed using all top quality materials by skilled artisans. The ornate details give the piano an antique feel, with the intricate wood patterns and Chippendale style casework. The U-121 has a “Soft Fall” Fallboard closing system that protects hands, fingers and the pianos finish from the harm that jarring close may cause.

These pianos are noted to have exceptional tonal quality and evenness of touch and sound throughout the entire range. All action parts and hammers are constructed for better tonal quality and longevity than their competitors.

These pianos usually sell for c.£3000 (used) however this piano has had some sustained damage to the casework as shown in one of the photographs. The damage is not structural and purely cosmetic but for this reason it is being listed at a bargain of £895.
