Our band workshops are run by Rodrigo the guitar teacher and Joe the drum teacher. They’re a brilliant opportunity for budding musicians to cut their teeth playing with their peers. You’ll experience the fun and funk of playing with other people. You’ll learn new songs and styles, develop your listening skills, improve your playing, develop your musical expression and learn how to do a rock face.
We’ll be playing music in a wide variety of styles including rock, pop, soul, funk, R&B, reggae, hip-hop and more.
Our band workshops are open to young musicians of all abilities interested in playing popular styles. The workshops are open to singers, guitarists, pianists/keyboardists, bassists, drummers, horn players and any other rock & pop musicians.
Regular workshops take place every half-term and these are topped off with a gig featuring the bands and other Ebony & Ivory students. Depending on demand, we may run workshops during the Xmas and summer holidays too.
Times: Usually Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 10.00 to 13.00
