The Oboe is a woodwind instrument used mostly in Western classical music. It has a rich and penetrating sound which makes it readily audible above even the largest of orchestras. Oboe’s are featured in the music of composers such as Bach, Handel, Mozart, Prokofiev, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky and Stockhasen.
