My name is Parsa Valiany. I was born and raised in the north of Iran. I started my music journey at the age of 7 with Santoor, and later found a serious passion for the electric guitar at 15. I began my A-level Music studies in London and completed my Bachelor’s degree in Music at Goldsmiths, University of London. I am currently working towards a Master’s degree in Classical Guitar at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where I have performed as part of the Royal Greenwich Guitar Festival under the direction of my teacher, Graham Devine. During the festival, I attended masterclasses with Duo Maccari–Pugliese, and I have also taken part in a masterclass with David Russell. I have been teaching classical, acoustic and electric guitar (up to Grade 8), as well as beginner piano. I focus on ABRSM exams for piano and classical guitar, and Rockschool/Trinity exams for acoustic and electric guitar. Since 2024, I’ve been working with Bahar Choir as an Assistant to the Conductor, which has strengthened my musicianship, rehearsal skills, and ensemble awareness. I speak both English and Farsi fluently.
