Ivan enjoys classic, jazz, soul, rock, pop and traditional. He is capable of teaching and playing any style. His approach is to teach and encourage the students to become independent in practice; it is important to sight read and therefore music literacy is at the core of his teachings. He is also qualified to teach students ABRSM, Trinity and Rock School.

Ivan, born in Yugoslavia, comes from a musical family and started violin at age 6, piano at age 8 and guitar (classic, bass and electric) at age 9.

Ivan studied Music Pedagogy and Theory with an additional intensive course of Piano and Conducting at The University of Zagreb. During his time at University he won a prize in his 2nd year for best pianist performing Schumann Pieces. After completing his studies in 2013, he spent a year to get his EU-recognised QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
In 2012, Ivan taught a summer course in Mannheim; he was commissioned by the EU foundation to represent Croatia for rock and pop methodology.

Some of Ivanʼs achievements include co-authoring the development of Pavao Bevas school which was achieved in several ways; holding concerts and competitions with students (both international and domestic, local venues). Ivan was able to show that he had very ambitious students. The government funding was approved and the school was entirely developed by 2019. Ivan also has experience preparing students for entrance exams in Music Universities.
